How To Translate The Stuff Your Insurance Company Sends You

In a recent survey, 86.6% of insurance companies admitted the stuff they write to you is not understandable.

Not just bills, but instructions on how to get the most out of your benefits, on how to get to see your doctor and just on how things work.

This is a survey of the insurers themselves. They admit it.

Clearly making sure you understand what’s going on isn’t a priority.

If something comes from your insurance company that you don’t understand, mark your questions on it, put it in a pile and take that pile with you next time you go to your PCP’s office.

If there is something especially concerning or if the pile gets too high, make a visit to your insurance home with your pile in hand.

An agent to whom you represent repeat business will be happy to take some time to interpret.
